Lakenya Bowman has been with Chartwell since acquisition in April 2014 at Amberleigh Bluff. Under her leadership, her property has achieved property of the year, been recognized for NOI Stewardship, and maintains Exceptional Satisfact Scores. Lakenya serves on Chartwell’s Help Desk and has been part of the Leadership Council. Most recently she was named a Chartwell Ambassador and has been named Property Manager of the Year.

In addition to her contributions to Chartwell, she is also an active member of the IREM and NAA local chapter and has served as the Resident Manager Association President. She holds multiple degrees include an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She is a military child with an appreciation to change, growth, and success. Lakenya is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Organizational Leadership.  When she is not working, Lakenya loves to spend time with her husband and 6 children. She enjoys BINGO, crafts, and cooking!

Kristina has been a part of the Chartwell team since the acquisition of her property in Bluffton March, 2014. Her thirteen years of multi-family industry experience has served her well during the renovation of her community over the last three years. Kristina is a native of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of South Carolina.

Since joining Chartwell, Kristina’s team has been awarded Property of the Year (2015), received several NOI stewardship awards and most recently received the 2016 Q2 ambassador award for her work with training and onboarding new team members. Kristina serves on the Chartwell internal help desk and is part of the 2017 Chartwell Leadership Countil.

In her free time, Kristina loves spending time and traveling with her husband, two children, and dog.

Emily Marden joined the Chartwell team in October 2010. She graduated from Saint Anselm College with a BA in Criminal Justice and Forensic Chemistry in 2006 and is in the process of pursuing her Masters in Accounting and Financial Management at Keller Graduate School of Management. Through the growth of the company and her knack for logistics she was promoted in July  for 2014 from Property Accountant to Manager of Treasury and Administration.  Emily also served on Chartwell’s inaugural leadership council that same year.

Emily is originally from New Hampshire – In her down time, she enjoys playing Rugby for Seacoast Rugby and traveling in an effort to find the next great adventure. She also loves meeting new people and reading as much as possible.

James joined the Chartwell team in September 2016, bringing with him 15 years of property management,  maintenance, carpentry and contractor experience.  James is currently the  service director at the Fairways, Chartwell’s largest community, leading the team in excellent service for 849 apartment homes.  James is the recipient of Chartwell’s Service Director of the Year award (2018).   He also received Chartwell’s  Ambassador Award (2018-Q1) for his assistance with new acquisitions and his exceptional organizational and mentoring support.

During his personal time, James enjoys spending time with his family, camping, hiking.  James is an enthusiastic NASCAR fan and enjoyed meeting his idol, Richard Petty
